About Us

Life is an adventure, but does it have to be a pricey or time consuming one? Hi! I’m Eric H. and this is my first post for Our Thrifty Adventures. Along with my wife, AIisa, we decided to make a blog about exactly that – our adventures through life with our family while trying to be cost and time conscious. Both of us love to travel and experience new things. But with 3 kids, we often found ourselves trying to figure out how to get this to work with everything else life throws at us. Which leads us to here! We want this blog to showcase our different adventures, whether it be across the globe, around the corner, or something in our everyday lives . We’re looking to pass on our thoughts, ideas, and experiences to you, our readers, in order to save you time and money. Some posts will be our great successes in being thrifty. Others will be where we made a mistake but want to let others know so that it’s not repeated. The main thing though is to have fun as a family and enjoy life together.
